Geraldine gives an insight into the councils decision to sign up to ActiveHub."We are delighted to be the first London Olympic Borough to be launching the online directory that is part of the National Club Directory programme being rolled out by ActiveHub. We believe that the provision of information to the whole community plays an important role in helping to get more people physically active, as well as helping more sports and activity providers to generate awareness and attract new members. We are keen to fully embrace the opportunity to create a sustainable legacy up to and beyond 2012 and very much welcome the signposting and sports development tool that this service provides." |
